Discerning men investing in serious tailoring want more than a transaction: they want an advisor who speaks cloth, cut, and occasion fluently, and who remembers that the navy they ordered last spring shouldn't be repeated for the wedding in June. You will be that advisor, by video, for an international luxury clientele.
What you'll actually do
- Run video consultations: wardrobe goals, occasions, silhouettes, cloth selection
- Guide clients through commissioning decisions with taste and candor
- Prepare fitting appointments so in-person time is spent on craft, not admin
- Maintain meticulous client profiles: measurement history, preferences, occasions ahead
- Follow up post-delivery and cultivate the long relationship, not the single order
A typical week
Thursday's first consultation is a groom building a wedding ensemble; you steer him off a trend he'll regret in photos and toward a cloth he'll hand down. The afternoon call is a returning client planning autumn: you already know his existing rotation, so the conversation starts three steps ahead.
What you bring
- Genuine menswear knowledge: construction, cloth, fit; tailoring-world experience strongly preferred
- Polished spoken English (C1 badge required); Italian a plus
- Consultative presence with high-net-worth clients: confident, never pushy
- Impeccable follow-through and note-keeping
Structure and pay
Full-time, fully remote with EU/US hours split for international clients. EUR 1,600-2,300/month depending on experience, review at 90 days.
Why this role comes through RemoteComet
The employer runs hiring for this position exclusively through us. That means one application reaches the actual decision maker, your profile is never resold or scattered across databases, and you get a real status on every application: matched, in review, or not this time. Nobody gets ghosted here.
How hiring works
1. Quick apply, two fields, two minutes. 2. If the role lists a skill badge, a short one-time assessment (reused for every role that needs it). 3. A screening conversation with our team. 4. Interview with the employer, where their name is disclosed to you. 5. Offer. Typical time from application to first interview: under two weeks.
