Foreigners living in Italy hit the same wall every week: an office that only answers in Italian, a form that contradicts itself, a landlord who has stopped replying. Our members message us instead of panicking, and you are the one who fixes it: on the phone, in fluent Italian, with the patience of someone who has beaten this bureaucracy before. Two seats open.
What you'll actually do
- Resolve member requests end to end: SPID, codice fiscale, utilities, healthcare enrollment, appointments, landlord and provider calls
- Call Italian offices and companies on members' behalf and get to an outcome
- Translate outcomes into calm, plain-English updates members actually understand
- Build the playbook: document each fix so the next rep resolves it in half the time
- Spot patterns and propose new service offerings the members clearly need
A typical week
Tuesday morning you untangle a member's electricity contract that was billed to the previous tenant since March: two calls, one PEC, done by lunch. Afternoon is an ASL enrollment walk-through for a family that arrived last month, and a firm, courteous call to a property manager who suddenly remembers how to reply. Every resolved ticket ends with a member who feels like they finally have someone local in their corner.
What you bring
- Native or near-native Italian AND fluent professional English (C1 badge required)
- Deep practical knowledge of Italian bureaucracy, lived or professional
- A fixer's temperament: resourceful, persistent, unflappable on the phone
- Empathy for people navigating a foreign system; you remember what confusing feels like
Structure and pay
Full-time, fully remote within Italy/EU, CET hours. €1,500-2,000/month depending on experience, review at 90 days.
Why this role comes through RemoteComet
The employer runs hiring for this position exclusively through us. That means one application reaches the actual decision maker, your profile is never resold or scattered across databases, and you get a real status on every application: matched, in review, or not this time. Nobody gets ghosted here.
How hiring works
1. Quick apply, two fields, two minutes. 2. If the role lists a skill badge, a short one-time assessment (reused for every role that needs it). 3. A screening conversation with our team. 4. Interview with the employer, where their name is disclosed to you. 5. Offer. Typical time from application to first interview: under two weeks.
