Concierge & Support

Bilingual Member Concierge (German + English)

Confidential employer · represented by RemoteComet

EUR 1,600–2,100/monthfull timeGermany / EUCET

Anmeldung appointments that don't exist, Ausländerbehörde queues, contracts with Kündigungsfrist traps: expats in Germany drown in exactly the paperwork you can navigate in your sleep. You'll be the German-speaking problem-solver our members message when the system says nein.

What you'll actually do

  • Resolve member requests: registration appointments, immigration-office scheduling, banking, insurance, utility and rental contracts
  • Call German offices and providers on members' behalf, in German, to an outcome
  • Explain German processes in clear English, including realistic timelines
  • Document every resolved case into the internal playbook
  • Flag systemic issues (cities with appointment droughts, providers to avoid) for the whole team

A typical week

Monday opens with an Anmeldung emergency: a member's employer needs proof of registration and the city portal shows nothing until October. You know the churches-and-cancellations tricks and land a slot Thursday. Wednesday you talk a member out of signing a mobile contract with a 24-month trap and into the plan they actually wanted.

What you bring

  • Native or near-native German AND fluent professional English (C1 badge required)
  • Hands-on knowledge of German bureaucracy and everyday contracts
  • Persistent and precise; German offices respect people who cite the right paragraph
  • Calm, service-first communication style

Structure and pay

Full-time, fully remote within Germany/EU, CET hours. €1,600-2,100/month depending on experience, review at 90 days.
