Thirty to forty American families will know your name. You are the person who takes a complex, months-long professional case from signed contract to finished result: sequencing the steps, chasing the blockers, and telling the client the truth about where things stand. If you have ever been the one colleague who actually closes the loop, this role was built around you. Two seats open.
What you'll actually do
- Own a portfolio of 30-40 active cases end to end, each with a clear next action at all times
- Run milestone calls with clients: what happened, what's next, what we need from them
- Coordinate document collection, third-party providers, and internal research teams
- Keep the CRM record accurate enough that anyone could pick up your case cold
- Escalate early when a case drifts, with a proposed fix, not just a flag
A typical week
Monday you review your portfolio dashboard and send eight status updates before lunch. Tuesday two client calls: one celebration, one hard conversation about a government delay you saw coming and already re-planned around. Midweek is document wrangling and coordination with researchers in Europe. Friday you close the week with zero cases lacking a next step, then log off on time, because US-hours means US-hours, not always-on.
What you bring
- 2+ years managing client relationships or casework (agency, legal support, immigration, financial services, or similar)
- Native-level written and spoken English (C1 badge required)
- Ruthless follow-through: you keep promises to 40 people at once without dropping one
- Comfortable delivering unwelcome news early instead of good news late
Structure and pay
Full-time, fully remote, long-term contractor engagement with a stable, established firm. $1,800-2,600/month depending on experience, paid monthly, compensation review at 90 days. Six or more hours of daily overlap with US Eastern required.
Why this role comes through RemoteComet
The employer runs hiring for this position exclusively through us. That means one application reaches the actual decision maker, your profile is never resold or scattered across databases, and you get a real status on every application: matched, in review, or not this time. Nobody gets ghosted here.
How hiring works
1. Quick apply, two fields, two minutes. 2. If the role lists a skill badge, a short one-time assessment (reused for every role that needs it). 3. A screening conversation with our team. 4. Interview with the employer, where their name is disclosed to you. 5. Offer. Typical time from application to first interview: under two weeks.
