Field Operations

City Operations Coordinator, Milan

Confidential employer · represented by RemoteComet

EUR 1,800–2,400/monthcontractMilan, ItalyOn-site, Milan

International members arriving in Milan get one promise from us: a capable local who has already handled everything they're worried about. In Milan, that local is you. This is a field role for someone who knows the city's offices, neighborhoods, and unwritten rules, and enjoys being the person who makes a hard week easy.

What you'll actually do

  • Own member arrivals in your city: housing handovers, registrations, first-week setup
  • Attend appointments and viewings in person when it moves things faster
  • Maintain your city playbook: offices, wait times, trusted vendors, shortcuts
  • Coordinate with remote concierge staff so members get one seamless experience
  • Hold a small roster of local vendors (movers, handymen, notaries) to standards

A typical week

Monday you walk a new arrival's rental contract before they sign, catching a clause that would have cost them the deposit. Wednesday you accompany a member to the appointment they were dreading; it takes 20 minutes because you brought the exact documents the clerk always asks for.

What you bring

  • Based in or near the city with real knowledge of how it works
  • Fluent Italian and strong professional English (C1 badge required)
  • Field temperament: punctual, presentable, calm when plans wobble
  • Experience in relocation, hospitality, property, or high-touch client service

Structure and pay

Independent contractor engagement, roughly full-time with in-person days in the city. EUR 1,800-2,400/month depending on experience, expenses reimbursed, review at 90 days.
